Additional tracks are $69.99 each, and include the Bottleneck track with an eponymous narrow section of road and the Crossroads track with an equally eponymous crossover section of road. The track included with the starter kit is a basic dog-bone track with two curves, a long straightway, and a slightly shorter straightway. The mats are a very heavy material, and come packaged with a thick paper cover with which you can roll to protect them when not in use. The tracks are 3.5-by-8.5-foot vinyl mats with black race courses laid out on top of brightly colored, futuristic designs that look a little like blacklight posters. An eight-minute charge lets each car run for about 20 minutes. Contacts on the bottom of each car charge the internal batteries through the cradle. Additional cars are $49.99 each, and feature unique chassis molds and different attribute balances and unique upgrades.Įach car comes with a charging cradle that connects to the included three-ended micro USB cable. But only the Boson can get the Gravity Beam upgrade that draws cars into the Boson's line of fire, and only the Kourai can get the Beam Disruptor upgrade that can stop enemy tractor beams from slowing it down. They can both use the Tractor Beam support item that can slow down other cars. The Boson and Kourai are both balanced cars, with room for four points each in Combat, Chassis, and Engine attributes, and room for three points in Energy. ![]() Each Anki Drive car has different attributes and can use unique items and equipment. They differ not just by their visual designs (and are actually repaints of the same chassis mold), but by their capabilities. The two included cars are the silver-and-red Boson and the yellow-and-black Kourai.
